Revolutionizing Japanese Fantasy eSports

Community-Driven Platform for Gamers and eSports Fans in Japan

What sparked the project?

GauG recognizing Japan's eSports industry's lag behind global standards, aimed to activate and expand its community by integrating fantasy sports and NFTs. Their goal is to fill the gap for players and fans who lack a central platform for tracking game statistics, team building, and collecting digital assets. GauG’s vision was to build a gamer-centric experience that addresses both regulatory limitations and community needs.

Immersive game-like design

Our primary design goal was to create an immersive, intuitive platform that feels like a game. The UI and UX needed to gamify user engagement, and encourage community interactions. We created numerous product flows for a seamless experience and digital collectible management. UI skins were created for each supported game, blending the futuristic aesthetics with specific game style, making a platform even more personalized to gamers.

Mature design with futuristic elements

We approached this project by diving into user research to understand the specific needs and expectations of Japanese eSports fans and players. The design process included wireframing, prototyping, and continuous user feedback to shape the platform’s key features, including the card marketplace, player stat tracking, roosters, tournaments, and achievements. We designed custom icons and UI components that resonate with the targeted gamers audience.

The platform goal is to invite both players and fans to support their favorite eSports stars, participate in virtual leagues, and engage in a dynamic ecosystem that brings gaming culture and community to the next level.
