What sparked this project?

DoDoo's founders wanted to launch a task management app that helps users organize their daily tasks in to fit their lifestyle. One of the app's main goal was to solve the common issue of users abandoning to-do apps after initial excitement, by making the experience gamified and reward users for completed tasks.

We made tasks completion fun

We focused on an intuitive minimalist interface that kept users engaged through a gamified task completion experience. The design had to feel rewarding and fun across multiple platforms, including Apple Watch, and iPhone.

What was created?

- Researched user behaviors in other apps to identify features that drive long-term engagement

- Discovered gamification as a key element to keep users motivated

- Designer wireframes that focused on a clean, mobile-first designAdded game-like features such as progress bars, streaks, and point reward system to encourage task completion

- Designed a minimalist, playful interface with bright colors and subtle animations

- Integrated Apple Watch App and iPhone widget for easy task access across devices
