Gamified the unboxing experience, combining tech, fashion, and crypto to engage the young generation.
StakUp was born from the idea of making mystery boxes more exciting and engaging for a tech-savvy, young audience. With growing interest in gamified platforms and web3 technologies, StakUp aimed to merge the fun of unboxing with the benefits of blockchain. They wanted a platform that could not only captivate Gen Z but also connect real assets and Web3.
The primary goal was to create a brand and platform that felt fresh, exciting, and relatable to young users. StakUp needed a design that seamlessly merged real world assets, such as sneakers and fashion, with web3 concepts like crypto. The challenge was to craft an experience that felt familiar yet innovative, ensuring every touchpoint from branding to UI captured their audience’s attention and interest.
To make StakUp stand out, we reimagined traditional mystery boxes by introducing a Pog inspired concept, drawing on the nostalgia of 90s collectibles. Each Pog visually represents a potential prize, whether it’s an Xbox, a T-shirt, or a watch, giving users a fun and clear preview of what they might win.
For the product categories, we created visually striking groups of POGs, each tailored to a specific theme like tech, fashion, or gaming. These thematic designs make the selection process more engaging while adding a feel of excitement and discovery.Beyond the Pog system, we designed a bold and inviting visual identity, intuitive UX/UI for both desktop and mobile, and dynamic 3D assets to enhance the unboxing experience. From a unique mascot to a cohesive social media kit, every element ties back to StakUp’s mission of making unboxing fun, fresh, and recognizable for the young generation.
